Serving Monticello and the surrounding communities since 1828, we see ourselves as vibrant, passionate followers of Jesus Christ - ready to take on and serve an ever-changing modern world!
We invite you and your family to join us, to worship and fellowship with us, to get to know us, and to join us to in ministries and missions in our church and the community. We have two Sunday services to choose from:
Praise Service: 8:30 AM
If your heart beats a little faster when you hear Christian praise and worship music and you enjoy a more relaxed worship atmosphere, then you will want to join us at 8:30 AM for a worship service led by our worship teams of very talented and inspired musicians.
Traditional Service: 11:00 AM
If your heart is stirred by a classic United Methodist worship service where hymns are sung, a choir sings and the congregation sings to a pipe organ and piano, you have found your home here. This service features the traditional elements of hymns, Doxology, Gloria Patri, and an affirmation of faith. In addition to a full choir, we have special music throughout the month. The Preaching is the same at both services.

Our members come from every walk of life, young and old, urban and rural. We are a diverse group of people dedicated to not only the study of the Gospel, but also to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through our expressions of faith and works. We have long-time members who grew up in this community and newer members who have just recently moved to our county, but we all share a common purpose - to worship God and serve Him through serving others.
